Casandra Esteve is a Project Associate at Farallon Strategies, where she brings a multidisciplinary background in sociology, education, design, and research to her work on climate resilience. She supports the Bay Area Climate Adaptation Network (BayCAN) and other regional initiatives focused on sustainability, equity, and community-driven solutions.
In her role as Program Manager for BayCAN, Casandra leads the network’s core operations. Her responsibilities include planning and facilitating convenings, managing network communications, including a bimonthly newsletter, and coordinating collaborative, grant-funded projects.
Casandra’s previous work includes supporting food security initiatives in Brooklyn, collaborating with agrarian cooperatives in Mexico, and developing sustainable agricultural supply chains. She holds an M.F.A. in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons at The New School, where she specialized in design-led research and systems thinking, and a B.A. in Sociology and Studio Art from the University of Notre Dame.
